Hi Everyone.

Complete newbie here. I’ve never worked (or contemplated working) with Carbon Fibre or fibreglass, but having seen the great content on YouTube and some of the other projects (the Noble...) I’ve now decided it might not be completely beyond me to give it a go.

I’ve had my car for 4 years now and to stop myself from buying a new one, I’ve decided to give it a refresh with a new exhaust system and some custom parts, including custom front and rear bumpers. I’ve already photoshopped the look I’d like to achieve.

I’ll repost in the appropriate forum, but in essence I want to create a plug, using my current front bumper as its basis, with some tweaks, so I’d like to know the best way to do this. I’ve considered creating a complete mould of my current bumper, but it seems quite wasteful considering the finished article won’t be a replica of my current bumper.

Anyway, it’s good to be here and I’m looking forward to learning from you all.

Cheers!
Mark.
