Hi, I'm from Quebec, Canada and I'm machinist. I don't have knowledge in carbon fiber fabrication but I would like to explore this domain, I'm planning to learn and lately to try to build some carbon fiber roll wrapped pool cue shafts. For the moment I ordered two CF cheap shafts blank from China and after discussion with them and they said that they can make CF shaft to any of my specifications. My first question here would be if more thin layers would be more stiffer than less thicker layers for the same tube thickness?
