I am working on a small motorcycle fairing that I have some air pockets and defects in my first mold. I picked a far too complicated project for the first one as it is a fairly complex shape and I ended up with small pockets and defects.

The largest pocket is maybe 1/4 inch deep and 2 inches long. There are a few other small defects as well. Can I just fill those with an epoxy mix of micro balloons? How do I blend the repair with the gel coat? Can I just sand it and then wax?
