Hello all. The age old question. What is the best way to cut carbon/kevlar cloth?  I have the carbon shears, but how do I keep it nice and straight?  I have the feeling the yellow kevlar tows will show up any discrepancies like a sore thumb.

And am I correct the best way to stop it unravelling is to spray adhese it on to greaseproof paper?

Regards

you can buy special serrated scissors that cut kevlar nicely. Trick with scissors is to use one pair for one type of fabric. So never cut carbon and then cut kevlar with same scissors, and never cut paper. In your case have one pair for cutting your hybrid fabric only.  They will still dull with time, but will last longer and cut better than by sharing
