Dear all. I am facing problems with IN2 Infusion Epoxy resin pigmented with Dust grey WS26121A. Applying wet laid process and after 24h, the epoxy has not cured. The weight of the components is the following: 125g (IN2 infusion epoxy), 37,5g (AT30 slow), 17,5g (dust grey WS26121A). I made trials with the same epoxy with TiO2 to obtain white coloured sheet and the curing was correct after 15h. Can somebody give me an explanation about this problem? I would appreciate a prompt answer as I have to produce some prototypes as soon as possible. Thanks to all. Andreu

Additional information is that I have applied vacuum. The cloths  (1 x glass cloth 202g/sqm, 2 glass non woven 300g/sqm, 1 x glass cloth 202g/sqm) are put on a PET film. Final peel ply, breather and vacuum bag is used.

Sounds like you need to leave it longer.  Curing temperature for AT30 slow is 24 Hours at 25C.  If you are in a cooler environment it will take longer.  Your pigment percentage is a little high  - typically you would want 5-10% by weight - you are a little bit over that which can also slow things down slightly.

Thanks for your comment.  I have another inquiry. I am using this resin for the manufacturing a prototype of composite that needs to withstand periods of 3-5h at 65-70C of temperature. Could you inform me about the maximum temperature that this kind of resin withstand, that is to say, a kind of softening point of glass transition temperature. Thanks. Regards

IN2 can achieve over 80C with a post cure.  Post cure the finished part with one of the cycles in the TDS and you should be fine with it being at 70C all day long.
