Hi,

I've attached a couple of images of a plastic cover I want to cast but have some questions regarding the silicone to be used (I'm looking at using the AS40 silicone here)

I will be filling the holes in the clips, they are not required for the operation of the cover.

Will the AS40 be relatively easy to de-mold without tearing on the thinner areas (around the clips for example)?
Am I likely to have issues with the square ribbing on the rear face of the cover, this can always be trimmed down or filled to reduce the depth of these square sections?

I plan to make this a two part mold, with the rear face shown to be all one mold.

Also - its filthy and painted too - does anyone have recommendations for cleaning agents and paint removal that will not react or inhibit the silicone?

Just realised I've posted this in the wrong forum - my apologies!
