ive just applied the finishing coat of pattern coat high gloss over the prepped pattern coat primer on my plug and its got micro holes or pimples in the finished layer theres aproxamtly 3 small holes per square 100mm they are nearly the full depth of the pattern coat and are difficult to sand out,the coat was applied as per video with no runs and a high quality brush.
