Dear Team
I am new to using resin and I would like your advice as to what resin to buy.   I want to cover an mdf table top with resin but need time to create a marble design, adding pigments and glitter.    I can see that glass cast 3 is pourable but does not have much workability time.  your other resin glass cast 50 appears to be for deep casting.  So i'm confused as to which one would be suitable.

thanks for your help

Good morning,

As you are going to be coating a mdf table top, the resin to use would be the GlassCast 3 as this can be poured between 2mm - 5mm. To create the marble effect you will need to start with a base coat of around 2-3mm, leave this for around 5-6 hours in a room that is 20'c. This will then be the perfect time for you to pour the other colours in thin streaks to get the desired effect. Once all of this has been poured you can now leave this in a room that is 20'c for 24 hours for this to reach its initial cure.

if there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
