Hi, I realised i put this in the wrong place earlier,

I am wanting to remake a failed attempt at an epoxy lamp and after reading a few topics I have nearly found my answer but have a few questions that I am hoping you can help me with?

The lamps I want to make would involve a deep pour of around 11cm I am using glass cast 50 and will need to do this in 2/3 pours, I want to add colour and I have read that I should mix up the entire batch add my colour and then pour in batches.
firslty have i read this correctly? secondly how do I prevent the remaining mix from curing after the first pour if I have to wait around 12 hours between pours?
My first attempt I did in 2 pours but the first was a bit too big and cured really quickly so possibly going to split it into 3 pours to be safe.  The second pour was a slightly different colour so you can see the 2 lines.

All advice welcome...
Thank you
