PTFE vs. FLASH tape

Group: Forum Members Posts: 2.5K, Visits: 28K	There's really very little difference, at the end of the day it's just self-adhesive plastic. The main benefit of flash tape is it is quite strong and uses a silicone adhesive that won't inhibit the cure of any commonly used composite resins. Some tapes use a rubber adhesive that will inhibit styrene based resins. But there's lots of tapes out there that will work, there's lots that won't. If it works then great.
