Hi, I want to do canards for my car. I been thinking of how to do a sheet with a 90 degree angle. Have anyone any tips of what to make the plug/mold from? Are you bending a sheet of metal or plastic ? (I’m doing infusion by tte way)

I just 3d printed a layup tool with a matching caulplate to make some canards for my caterham.
But bending a bit of all plate would suffice.

I need to get me a 3d printer haha. Does regular polished untreated plate of aluminium work ? Or does the surface need to be treated so the epoxy does not stick ?

Polished aluminium is a great mould surface as long as you use a suitable release agent.
