I can see lots of damage there.  Has it been repaired and is now level?

Your first step would be to repair any damage before considering smoothing out the rest of the hull and coating it.  If you haven't seen it, I would recommend you watch our video on How to Repair a Kayak as it will take you through the repair process.

You can see the technique for getting a smoother repair using the release film.  You can try this over large areas of the hull to try and speed things up a bit.  For that kind of work I would look at our XCR Epoxy Coating Resin as it will give a thicker coating and can be easily sanded to shape and polished afterwards to give a nice overall finish.

I have a question because I am repairing my slalom canoe and I would like to renew the bottom of the canoe which products you recommend when I will fill the holes and align the surfaces and I would like to take old laminating and put new laminating it's will be a smooth surface as possible, I know the best will be to use Vacuum Pumps but I just do for myself the manual spreading will give me a similar effect smooth surface as possible.
Please help me and advise to the right choosing of the product.
