I have introduced myself once, but this area seemed like a good place for this question. As I study the methods used to create Carbon Fiber parts for my UAV, would the experience of making flat test sheets benefit me more that making a few mistakes while attempting to make my first real part?
My parts are all pretty manageable in shape and size. One main frame part will be almost flat and less than 80cm X 80cm X 6mm. Other parts are about 30cm X 30cm X 15cm. So, I consider those manageable.
Stick my toe into the water first, or jump right into the deep end of the pool?
