Hello,

My name is Stephen from the UK and i'm starting to dabble into the carbon world. I have some basic experience in the way of car repair with fibreglass etc. I've been watching a few of the 'learning videos' from easycomposites.com and decided I would give some of them a go.

I've never done anything in the way of mould making as such, so a question i have is that i have quite a lot of Polyestre topcoat lying around and was wondering if this is suitible is the way of making moulds. I know the heat build is usually an issue if applied to think (too many layers)

Thanks in advance for any information anyone might offer.
