Hi there,
I'm new to resin although made a few jewellery pieces already. I would like to ask about a resin type which I found on a jewellery in a shop. It is cristal clear and shiny at the same time soft, kind of a gel... If I press my nail in it, it goes back to the original shape. Never seen this before, can you give me any advise what kind of resin it is?
Thanks for your help,
Emese

If it is really soft then it sounds like a "Doming" resin usually used for badges and foil stickers.

Do you need it to have that kind of flex?  If you want a small amount of flex, then the product to go for is the ArtResin® Epoxy Resin for relatively thin pieces as it cures with a slight flex to it - eg you can press your nail in it.

If you would prefer a harder surface and/or you want to cast thicker, then I would look at our GlassCast range of clear casting epoxies, specifically our  GlassCast 10 Clear Epoxy Casting Resin which is specifically designed for thinner casting projects such as jewelry and pendants etc.
