Hello
I need to cut Carbon Fibre 2/2 Twill 3k 210g in 45°.
The method with the pulled strand does not work here.
It ist for my project:
carbon front fender 701 supermoto
I added some pictures at the end.
Any hints?
regards
Frank

Do you mean cutting strips or ply shapes at 45degrees? Get a triangle or make one and use as a guide for cutting at 45 degrees

But I cut with scissors and so I have to lift up the weave a little bit.
By lifting it up, it is difficult to hold the template in place.
I could mark it with spray color or something or cut it laying on the table with a sharp blade.
I fear the strands would get loose, when i tack a masking tape to it and cut along the masking tape.
How do you cut it?

Dont use a pizza cutter, use a fabric rotary cutter. Looks like a pizza cutter but they are much sharper and better quality.
