This is the first casting I've ever done and it hasn't gone too well. I'm trying to cast a gasket that is 1mm thick. I've created the mould and it looks good, but when I poured in the PX60, bubbles started to form and they didn't all burst. I waited 3 hours, and the majority of the cast is bubbles. Taking it out of the mould has left me with small bubbles of resin that fall apart easily on the lower surface.

So is this just too thin a piece to try to cast with PX60? Is there something I can do to help matters. I.e. increase temperature? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
