My project is to cover my bass neck with carbon in order to have a better look and and to ease the playing.
For that, I've purchased your XCR Carbon Fibre Skinning Starter Kit.
I'm living in France and the provider has written that mix of resin has to 2-1. It's strange because on your notice it's written 3-1.
Finally, what is the good ratio ?
To end, to protect holes of the neck, I will use the same technic as in your video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqwhcfQZT8U&t=28s
my question is how do you know positions of holes when it's covered by the resin et the graphic ?
Thx by advance

First of all make a template for your holes so you can always get the final positioning right.

The correct ratio for XCR epoxy coating resin is 3:1 resin to hardener by weight,

The old resin and hence our old Carbon Mods video used a 2:1 ratio.
