If you are trying to make a mould surface with the epoxy resin already then as long as the epoxy is high quality, you may not need the S120.  You should be able to sand the resin smooth to a good finish, then polish it back to a high gloss.  If you can get a good gloss then no S120 is needed and you can apply release agent and go from there.

You can use the S120  in a couple of wipe on layers if the gloss is poor. In essence the S120 would be used in effect just as a glossing agent.
