Hi.
I have now connected my OV301 to my PC and followed the installation guide to a fault.
Still I can't get a connection between the oven and my PC.
I have updated all drivers to the newest, tried to change the COM-port number to anything between 3 and 10, reinstalled CN7 software, reinstalled drivers, and I even changed computers.
When I try to connect from the "MONITOR" window, I get this message: "The configured serial port is not valid. Please choose another port." then I get to choose another, but theres only the one I configured, that is available to choose from. If I choose the same port I get 4 RED blinks from the USB connector and no reaction on the monitor.
When I push cancel from that popup window I get this message:  the ComNumber property of the TApdComPort has not been set.

What to do?
Please help

My hardware:

Win 10. HOME
Intel Core i7-6820HK 2.70Ghz
16GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060

Hi,

We have been looking at your issue here, trying to replicate your problem. Unfortunately we haven't been able to recreate it but if we could just check a few things that may help.

Firstly, when you plug your programming lead into the USB port on your PC do you get any flashing lights on the clear USB connector?

Next we can try reinstalling the driver.
  1. Open 'Device Manager' on your PC.
  2. Open the 'Ports (COM & LPT)' menu.
  3. Right-click on 'USB Serial Port (COM?)' and select 'Uninstall Device'
  4. Tick the Delete the driver software for this device' box and then click 'uninstall'
Now repeat the install instructions for the USB cable (OV-USB2).

Hopefully this will cure your issue. But if you have any more problems, please ask and I will try to assist you further.
