We already bought the resins needed for part production. And our agenda, the parts' molds. We will start manufacturing molds with a company. We want to have a little knowledge, associated with mold resins. Product' resin's TG around 120 degrees: 119

In the model and mold production, economic resins with high-temperature resistance present in the market?

Instead of choosing as high-quality resin as the resins we buy for product production, we only want to choose resins that have heat resistance and price advantage for molds/models.

It will be quite expensive to produce molds with resins that have high mechanical strength.

You will likely find that the tooling resin systems are more expensive than many standard resin systems. Without knowing more about the tool you want to make and size its difficult to say the best choice. What type of resin you want? what is the curing temp of the product? Whats the exotherm temp of the part you are making? Theres many good brands out there for epoxy: Gurit, Huntsman, Sika/axson, etc... More cheaper is to use a PE or VE, but that might not match your product well, and without knowing more its difficult to give further advise. Good luck

Thank you for your interest.

We will use SIKA/epoxy resin for products manufacturing. Tg~120 centigrade degree. So, it seems likely that we can not cure the pieces at about 100 centigrade degrees. We will make automotive parts.
We have information Gurit, SIKA, Hunstman, Sicomin. But we would like to know, which prefer to use resin for parts mold? But we want to know, which resin to use suitable for parts' composite mold manufacture?Because if we choose product resin, it will be quite expensive. We are looking for economical resin with high-temperature resistance. Is it possible?

Thnaks in advance

Tooling resin is designed for repeated heat cycling. You can use other resins, but you may find that the longevity of the mould is less. Only thing I can suggest is to sample the resin, and do trials to validate for your process and requirements
