Hi-
A few questions about GlassCast 50
- Will it be be available on the website soon?
- On the page description it says the following: See our full instructions on how to use GlassCast 50 to create a stunning resin river table here. But it isn't linked to anything- do you have those instructions available?
- What's the best way to work out how much I will need? For instance I think I need approx 5000 cubic centimeters of resin, what is the calculation I need to do to work out how much I need to buy in weight?

many thanks
Joz

GlassCast 50 (and its thinner casting brother GlassCast 10) is available as we speak.

We are just filming a video to accompany the instructions so as soon as it is complete, they will be released as a package

Approximately  1kg resin is 1 Litre buy volume..  For larger volumes, be a bit more precise as it is 1.1kg per litre volume.

Hey,

Will the glasscast 50 be available soon on the website? Because I would like to make my own river table.

Thank you!

Hi Nick,

Yes, we are due our latest batch on the 21st May.  The demand for the GlassCast 50 has been amazingly high to the extent that our factory were unable to get the raw materials for the hardener as quick as the finished resin flys out the door! However that backlog on the raw materials has gone and the resin is in production now with the due date as above.

We don't have any retailers in the USA, however we can ship direct to the USA using FedEx.

Hi,
I have just ordered some Glass Cast 50 from you, do you have any idea when it will come back into stock?
Also, I am looking to buy a respirator to wear when working with the resin, can you recommend a good one?
Thank you,
Nicky

Hi,  We are currently due the resin back in stock around the 7th September.

GlassCast is virtually zero VOC and epoxy in general is low odour so most people just work in a well ventilated  room without a respirator.  However if you have concerns or may be potentially allergic then any good quality  properly sealed nose and mouth respirator will be fine.  You would want  filters for organic vapour and also  for sanding and cutting cured  resin a P2 (or better) particulate filter.  Some masks allow you to combine the filters or easily swap them out. We tend to use a lot of products from the 3M range due to quality and availability.
