Hi guys!
I am building spearguns for a 5-6 years. Most of them were wrapped with carbon cloth. Last two years I am using vacuum bagging for better results. I used to put one layer of epoxy resin and wait for 2-3 hours and then put carbon cloth. Recently I decide to use this spray adhesive for reducing waiting. Gun was prepared, sanded and coated with one layer of epoxy resin. Sanded again with grit 100-10 and sprayed with adhesive. After 2-3 minutes I put on carbon cloth and proceed with resin, peel ply, breather cloth, vacuum bag and pump was turned on for several hours. I was satisfied how everything goes on.
Tommorom I remove speargun from bag. Looked great; but when cutting off exceed carbon cloth I noticed that it was not hard glued to guns body. On a first sight it was perfect but I was able to remove it like a socks.
Can anyone tell me what I was doing wrong?
Thx

As said, it's not really it's design purpose. That being said, epoxy will cross link across fusion fix when used sparingly. It means it can be used in the middle of a laminate stack without it causin...
