I want to use coloured pigment mixed with epoxy and bedded into wood for a decorative finish in woodturning. I have heard that some pigments can be very hazardous when dispersed as dust from woodturning. I can't find an ingredients list for the black epoxy pigment and would welcome advice as to how safe it is to use in this way...

Hi Steve,

The pigment dispersions we have are all moving over to lead free so other than standard dust hazards from machining are no more toxic than the underlying resin they are cast in.

Our epoxy black pigments are all lead free and you can download the Safety Data Sheet here: Epoxy Lead Free SDS
