Qualified chemist with 20+ years experience in formulation and testing but mostly in adhesives and cement based products. Out of work due to poor health, had insane idea for home based work based on composites and electronics...in neither of which I have much experience!

Expect daft questions and unrealistic expectations - but I like to help too so I’ll chip in if I can!

Nice to have you on board. No doubt your qualifications and experience will add to the great mix of skills and expertise we have here in the Talk Composites community. What type of adhesive technology were you involved with?

Mostly water based...pvas, acrylics, tile adhesives and floor levelling compounds. Bit of experience with epoxy and PU flooring.

My three most common questions likely to be;

How (do I do it)?
What (material do I use)?

and most crucially;

Why (didn’t it work when I tried it!)?

Welcome to the forum. Are you looking into using composites and or graphene in electrical batteries and super capacitors?

Oh no, far less ambitious! It’s more of a decorative project to bring a bit of flair to a fairly pedestrian item...don’t want to say too much as there are more experienced people than me who I’m sure could get this up and running in seconds...but it does seem to me there’s a bit of a gap in the market.

Sorry to be so cryptic!
