I need a bit of help from you in order to be able to do something worth showing here jejej.

Well, the thing is that I have a perfect piece as a mould but is made out of wood. Is there any problem of using the chemical easy release product or should I first coat the piece of wood with something?

In my early composites days I have done it several times without coating, but with a wax type release agent. It worked (not that great, but it did the job) with polyester molds, but I guess it will not with epoxy tooling resins, as epoxy has much better bonding propertys.

Nowadays  I would always use a light clearcoat, before tooling.

Which clear coat do you suggest? Polyurethane?

Polyurethane would be my choice. But as long as it is 2k it will be fine.

No, sorry. I meant 2 component lacquer. I didn't translate that.
