Group: Forum Members Posts: 90, Visits: 634	Hi guys using the twill 3k 200g cloth but is there any better to use for skinning? Thicker but as easy to drape and shape to the parts? I find it can distort very easy. Thanks

Hi I'd highly recommend using the slightly more expensive 240g cloth that EC sells, as it is far more stable than the 200g equivalent and better suited to skinning jobs where a bit of drape is...

That's the way I do it just now. , going to be vac bagging my parts from now on so thinking if I put a coat of clear resin down then the cloth, vac bag it... let it cure, then add the coats of resin.
