Hi guys im finding I'm getting dust and crap between coats on my parts I'm skinning, are you ok to sand between coats? If so what grit would you use.

Yeh as long as the coating has cured hard and isn't tacky anymore then you should be sanding it...

So do you sand between every coat? I usually add coats once it's tacky but finding bits in the resin...

A VERY clean work-room is essential IMHO for a good result when skinning .. Especially if you want...

Yeah my work space is clean but it's always going to happen with the cure times being so long lol....

You can also put a plastic storage box (or similar) over the top of the piece while it cures to stop...
