Hi,
So I've been laying fibreglass csm on painted plastic, either a wing or bumpers. I've masked up the bumper section which I will lay on, 3 layers of masking tape and sometimes pva.
Problem I'm having is, even tho i only use 1%-1.5% catalyst when I lay up. When I Come to pop off the mould or Matt, it usually tends to leave a print of the chop strand. Sometimes the paint is even becomes soft.
Is there any way to avoid this or fix the aftermath?
Thanks
