Does anyone know of a tubular composite frame that could be made for light air craft ?? similar to whats used for bike framing !!

My thoughts were to use glass braid in combination of unidirectional glass fibers  wrapped around a former  then released off to use as framing  its easy to shape and easer to join and because it will hold its shape is excilent for tubular framing instead of steel or wood ! steel bends and crinkle's wood breaks and splinters unidirectional glass hold its shape and neither crinkles of splinters or breaks!!

It would be easier just to buy the tubes from a tube maker. They are usually pre preg and good quality, cheap too.

Not worth the trouble to make them in my opinion.

sounds like a pretty inefficient use of composites, a shell structure would be much better for that type of use
