Carbon fibre skinning is still a topic that we get asked about a lot and although we generally work with more advanced processes for structural applications, there are plenty of interesting projects where carbon fibre 'skinning' over the top of an existing component is desirable. The process itself is one that really needs a good video tutorial because if you get it right and follow the process exactly, it works really well - however - get your timings wrong and it can be hard work indeed. We hope this new video, produced to our more recent high standards, will do a good job of explaining the process completely. Combined with the incredible XCR resin system (developed specifically for this type of hot-coating work) you really can get some stunning results.
