not sure if you guys and girls have heard of a product called reface made by U-POL but its a spray filler and very useful for curved and complicated surfaces or over the top of normal filler to get it 100% true, you need to get your filler work about 90% there and then two or three coats of reface will finish it off nicely.

the down side with reface is you need quite a big needle and fluid tip to spray it. 1.8mm primer gun is not big enough, you really need around 2.2 to 3mm. you might be able to use a cup gun from EC but i dont think that would give a good enough finish, i could be wrong though as ive not tried

here is the product listed on ebay just incase you are interested - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SALE-U-pol-Reface-Polyester-Spray-Filler-1L-Hardener-UPOL-BEST-PRICE-/321774574849?hash=item4aeb425d01:g:J0EAAMXQeW5Tbq-N

there are other cheaper brands out there but i have had no luck with any ive tried so far so i just stick to the upol brand as its only a few £ more and it works all the time.

one thing i would say is though if your going to use it dont mix up to much in one go unless you have a large surface area to cover or many different items to do as once it starts to turn it goes fast and will mess your paint gun up if it goes off in there (yes i have been caught out by this and learnt the hard way)

and another good acrylic enamel high build primer is the Kapci coatings high build/filler primer and is pretty cheap as well. only issue with it is if you want a grey primer their shade of grey is just off white not like the normal grey of say a U-POL primer but you can if needed buy a grey/white primer kit along with black and make your own grey primer up

1.25L kit - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331105601083?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
3.7L kit - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331333731667?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

you can also reduce the drying times by adding a rocket to the primer, direct gloss paint and clear coats when your air drying parts (can be used with oven curing also) really good in the winter when the weather is cold
