One of the other things I'm looking good at is something for the office like a wrist rest for the keyboard or a novel looking drinks holder. I'm still looking at something like a face mask as I can incorporate some nice features. Or maybe even a rc car body? Keep the suggestions coming in. I'm trying to write up the project justification at the moment, which is a pain in the rear.

Group: Forum Members Posts: 460, Visits: 5.2K	Thanks for the ideas guys. Place mats and coasters have been done to death and we already done some a few years back. I like the sunglasses idea as two simple clamshells bonded together could work well. I need the part to be 3d as we will use the tool for in house training so something with a bit of complex geometry would be more beneficial. I do have a couple of ideas like an f1 steering wheel or a face mask. But Alan Harper made a pair of Tits on his stand this year so who knows 😁 Edited 10 Years Ago by scottracing

Group: Forum Members Posts: 460, Visits: 5.2K	Hi All, Bit of a strange request,but its worth asking. I'm looking at commissioning a small press here at work, and I need to design a tool to make a generic component that we can use lots of different materials, including thermoplastics, prepregs and probably SMC materials. The secondary use of the 'generic part' will be as a marketing tool and probably as a giveaway at shows, what would you like as a nice carbon part free of charge? Already frisbees have been thrown about as an idea, but there is already a company making them at the shows, and I would like to make something a bit more useful or entertaining. Anyone got any ideas? If its a good idea and I eventually make them I will make sure you get one in the post Cheers Garry
