Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience with spectroscopy of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic? I have the option of a sphere or multi angle photospectrometer: I know that the sphere is better for the changes in texture across my part but the multi angle would perhaps be better because of the way that carbon tends to have a different lustre from different angles. I want to put some black dye into my resin and end goal is to quantify repeatable colouring across all my parts.

If anyone has any experience in the field, I'd love to hear from you!

Cheers,

Katie
