A lot of people are looking for information about making tubes. I thought we could share our best methods in terms of making tubes like shapes. So I shall begin.
1) simply wrapping metal tube with wet cloths and then wrappping it with shrink or non shrink tape.
2) wrap metal tube with uni dir tape at exact angle allowing it to lay down properly without distortions .
those 2 methods allow to produce tubes with even internal diameter here I present next method that allows to produce tubes with even external diameter :
3) we place wet fibers or pre preg fiber on latex core, then we push it inside our mould ( pipe) then it goes to the fridge to shrink the latex and allow to take out it and replace it with some kind of balloon which will push fiber againts the pipe. Might use 2 part expanding foam instead of bladder and after curing melt it out with acetone.
Any other ideas ?
Come on guys ! share some knowledge
