Hi all,

I've just had my forst attempt at making something (a seat) I've used 600g with a 3mm foam core and am reasonably happy with my first result. However, I need to trim the edges of the seat which will leave the core exposed and will need to re-cover these edges. I propose to do this by wrapping a 50mm ribbon of the same material around the edge. This will not only finish the edge but add strength to the whole seat.

my question is: The 600g material is quite stiff. How can I wrap it around my 3mm edge and get it to stay there whilst I bag it?

Also: For the mods, you don't have an aeroplane section on this forum!

I'm guessing by the lack of response that there is no easy answer!
