Hey all,
I'm Anthony, from Solihull (UK)
I am new to making anything with resin but no stranger to using it. I am a panel beater / refinisher so i'm used to fixing things with it.
I am looking to start making some CF parts for my car so thought this is the place to pick up some knowledge and get to meet a few friendly faces along the way (hopefully)
I am looking to make a pair of fenders, bonnet, roof, tail gate and some other little parts too. If they turn out ok I may make some parts for my bike too.
I hope to speak to you all soon.
Anthony

Hi And welcome,
Funny I started more than a year ago with same ideas. But I still have no CF parts for my car but I do have quite a lot of moulds ๐ท (ok there are lots of reasons why I did not made parts yet, first are time and money. I am not living in UK so delivery fees are huge and I must plan carefully my job and purchases)
Here is the only advice I can give you (based on my own small experience):
Do not focus too much on the final part you want to make. Take time to learn to build good smooth moulds.
The mould is everything!
I made that mistake: think about the final piece and techniques and underestimated the mould AND the time it takes to build.
Good luck, hope to read posts of your progress.๐
