Hello,
are these Carbon Fibre rods electrically conductive? (I suspect not as it is kind of composite material, i.e. carbon fibres moulded into epoxy?)

Regards,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

Yes the carbon rods are conductive, although the resin isn't conductive you will still find that due to the fact that the fibres are in close contact with the surface and each other that they will allow electricity to pass easily, obviously there is a reasonable resistance. as it stands we do not have any data on the conductivity of the pultrusions but it would be something that could be easily experimented with.
