A big hello from Scotland. I've been in the woodworking trade for more years than I care to remember. I am now retired due to health problems and getting bored. I decided I would make wood jewelry since I'm pretty familiar with the stuff. I am now trying to make wood jewelry by incorporating Polyester resin, which I am NOT familiar with. Now to the problem. Polyester does not appear to like wood as i cannot get it to adhere to the wood. It's likely it will be me making a hash of things no doubt, or are there tricks involved. I would be considerably grateful for any or all the advice you or other members of the forum could give me. As an end note.  Thank you for allowing me to join your forum, which appears to me to be full of folks who know exactly what they are talking about, which is quite rare these days. Incidentally, can I use perspex to make moulds, or will it react with the poly resin.
Thanking you in advance.
