Group: Forum Members Posts: 460, Visits: 5.2K	Thought as these tools are pretty much hand made by each laminator for laying up prepreg, but you cant find much info on them I would post up a pic of some of mine. I'm in the process of making some new ones as I haven't been able to bring my toolbox to germany yet and I've got some parts to make soon. I don't know what you made yours out of but I have found the best material to make them out of is virgin teflon. Its expensive but well worth it, for it doesn't build up with resin and get all sticky. The teflon is firm but soft. I bought a 1/4 inch thick 12"x12" on line for about $60.00 shipped. You can cut out the shapes on a band saw and shape on a belt sander. Continue to sand to shape by hand to a very fine grit. Best money I ever spent. Hope this helps Fred

Group: Forum Members Posts: 460, Visits: 5.2K	Hi Fred Mine are made from PTFE sheet, so teflon as you have used. I also make a lot of carbon dibbers as the prepreg doesnt stick to it that badly, and its all easy to clean with a bit of acetone.
