Hey guys,

recently decided i would try doing a few different parts for my 125 motorbike (aprilia mx125). Looked into what i could afford and went with the mould starter pack and laminating pack.

However since making my purchase i notice most people use the bagging technique, Am i still likely to get good results on smaller parts using the laminating technique? or should i stump up the cash for a bagging system?

I will be posting pictures of my projects and let you know what i find works/doesnt.

Thanks!

Ross

Hi, Ross, welcome here !

For more visibility, I suggest you to post your technical questions here.

For your question, it depends if you want to make many (different) parts. Then a vacuum infusion process would help to get consistent and very good results. This process also allows to get the lightest part possible.

But, it is very possible to get very good results from hand laminating techniques (see here).
