message me your details, I have an offcuts pile that a portion of could be donated - various shapes and sizes but no bigger than A5 though - I may even have some polyester resin floating about but with hazardous goods postage costs that may be an issue.

Hi All,
A bit of a cheeky plea from me.
I am a Science teacher in Leicester City and some of my students have shown an interest in advanced composites. I have been looking into starting up a small scale club for them to produce a few composite parts alongside the DT department. The problem we have is that our budget is incredibly small, by that I mean what I purchase myself.
If anyone has any off cuts of material that are going to be thrown in the bin, or resin that is past its use by date, it would be great if you could chuck it our way to help get these kids engaged outside of lessons. None of the parts are going to be structural in any way so its more about the look for them, tea coasters and clock faces mainly.
Any help you can throw my way would be appreciated!
Tom
