My first mould

Group: Forum Members Posts: 5, Visits: 29	I thought I would post some pictures of the process of making my first mould. The idea is to make the dash and the top of the side pods in a single piece. I started out building in MDF on top of the chassis Then I radiused all the corners using a body filler. I have since learnt that I could have done this with plasticine and made life a lot easier. Finally everything has had a coat or two of pattern coat and is now ready for sanding back and polishing. With any luck I will get the time to do this next weekend. If anybody has any hints or tips I would love to hear them
