Hiya All,
As a guitar builder (fine woodworker) I'm going to invest in vacuum equipment and experiment with materials.
Before I start spending money I would like to ask your opinion about vac setups.
Spend quite some time searching the web (and this forum) for an affordable system which will work for my applications.
My applications:
Small vacuum frame press
 Vacuum Fixtures
Bagging/molding
Now I'm going to build these "tools" myself (got a nice CNC router)
I'm planning to buy this vacuum pump and use it in a setup that doesn't have to run continuously. As my clamping times are over 12hr or more I don't think the pump I'm going to purchase will last long BigGrin
So I stumbled across this setup. You can buy the needed materials in kit from the US but:
a. They don't sell a 240v kit (only support 120v)
b. Shipping + Importing costs to Belgium would make it at least double the price.

Did anyone build a similar setup?
Does anyone know where to find a good quality:
- 240v Vacuum Pressure Controller similar to this one
- 240v Mac Valve 3-Way, 1/4" NPT similar to this one

Think I can find all the other components in the Easy Composites webshop.

Material question(s)

I would like to try some guitar sandwich tops with honeycomb material. What glue should I use to bond this panel in between two (thin) layers of wood(veneer). I'm looking for a thixotropic epoxy/two component glue. Can I find this in the webshop? More info regarding the double tops here

Would be great to get some answers here.
Have a great weekend,
H.
