Hello everybody,
I also bought one and it didn’t run in total for 10 hours I think ...and it starts making strange noise. Now I bought a second hand profi pump for a bit more than a new airco pump. It pulls a little more vacuum but is more reliable. (Losing vacuum during infusion is not what you want, I keep the aircopump for spare you never know..)
It depends on which "technique" you use to infuse. If you want to leave your pump running during curing your pump sure will heat up. Maybe if you keep the pump cool and avoid sucking fibers into the pump by a filter it will be ok, I have read that some people use them for a long time without problems.
They also smoke oil, even when you have max. vacuum.
It is just to share my experience.
Best Regards, GT3
