Group: Forum Members Posts: 363, Visits: 3K	Hi Matt, I think you may have to change the activation process for a member to prevent bogus accounts, I've noticed on some other forums now that you have to go through a few step process to register. 1) Register you username & P/W only (a lot of the new spam accounts autofill the other sections now) 2) user to email a specific address with username (not admin@..... !) 3) admin then manually activates the account. It's obviously a bit more work for the admin and you can't register then start posting immediately but it certainly prevents being flooded with spam Chris.

We have been trying to keep an eye on it and delete it as we found it but plenty seems to have got through. I've had another purge but this time banned the members. I'm not 100% sure they were that interested in advanced composites (or even bucket and brush polyester) anyway I'll follow this thread so if anything else comes up, give me a heads-up in this thread and I'll act accordingly. Composites isn't really the kind of market for fake passports..... If it carries on we may have to implement some more security on sign up.
