Im starting a project that uses flexible glass rod pretty much similar to what you would find in a dome tent with flexible poles.
it is currently 8mm diameter tube at 4.55m long that bends around to form a 1.45m diameter circle that feels sturdy.
I would like to lighten this by using carbon tube, but how does it handle being bent and held under tension?
What is the best alternative in carbon. Rod, Pultruded Tube or Wrapped Tube?

think I found my answer. Carbon is stiff and not ideal for bending, although my pieces I have here...
