Hello, I'm currently building a caterham 7 based kit car, I've fallen in love with carbon fibre Smile

I'll be making the dash, prop tunnel, panel behind the seats and rear boot hatch with spoiler moulded in and the exhaust can

Firstly the exhaust can,  what materials would you think is best to use? what epoxy? Also should I go for 2 or 1 layers of 400g twill weave with 1 layer of 200g on top and what materials do I use to make the carbon fibre shine after?

All the interior I'm thinking of using 1 layer of 400g then a top layer of 200g twill, should that be strong enough?

Also, what epoxy do I use for finishing (to get a nice deep shine)

Many thanks from a Newby
