hello;
We are aproducer of tactile flooring.

We useBayer Desmopan 1045D (TPU-Thermoplastic Polyurethane) as a raw material for manufacturing our tactile flooring sheets.

During the installationg of TPU made of tactile flooring sheets, we haveused different methods but unfortunately have had unsatisfactory results.

Theadhesives that we have tried to use are:

 3M 550FC

3M VHB 4950 Tape

Henkel ThomsitR710

PU Epoxy Glue

The types ofsurfaces that we are applying the products to are:

 Marble

Ceramic

Andesite

Granite

Paving stone

we sand the floor and then clean both the floor and the product with IPA alcohol. After cleaning , we apply one of above adhesives.

The problemthat we are having is, that after a short period of time, the flooring that wehave laid is lifting.

I have heard that especially 3M 550FC could be mixed with a type of Primer then it may work however I couldnt reach the information of which primer could it be.

We have no technical background about chemicals and adhesives that's why having trouble to get support anywhere. I was wondering if anybody here have an idea what kind of solution we can give it a try..

By the way; we got in touch with Bayer regarding TPU, unfortunately they couldn't advice us the right adhesive..

thanks

Could your solution be as simple as caulking tubes of stuff from the building stores. Some of the names go by "Liquid nails"  "Panel adhesive"
It is used to glue wood flooring down to the floor joists. Do a test and then you can order bulk in the large industrial tubes using a powered dispenser.
Hope this Helps.

Hello; thanks for the reply..
Are you suggesting to replace our adhesive with this even if our flooring is not wood? or should we mix with anything?
