New to composites ,but been working on this tank on and off for a bit now.

The plug was made from polystyrene followed by a balsa skin and a thin skim of filler and acrylic paint.

Unconventionaly i just waxed the plug and layed up the bottom followed by the top and once cured the dremal came out to part the top and bottom pices from the plug.

ready to add the filler neck and fuel line nipple before some kevlar layers , the hole lot will be coated with creswell or flowliner before its joined back together and another layer of kevlar and finished off with a red / black carbon.
